The annual Lehigh Valley Yoga Festival has grown to become the most anticipated yoga event in the Greater Lehigh Valley. This is our sixth year hosting the festival as a fundraiser for Pratyush Sinha Foundation
, a non-profit focused on bringing yoga and mindfulness to at-risk populations in the greater Lehigh Valley, but above all, it is a meeting ground for the community to seek connection and healing together.
We are proud of the awareness the festival has generated of the need for yoga and mindfulness in our schools and communities. This has allowed us to extend our reach to over 10,000 children, adolescents, and adults in the 2018-19 school year alone. This is a mighty feat and we know we could not have accomplished this without people in the community who share our core beliefs
We believe that every child has the potential to become a healthy, happy and conscious citizen of the world. We believe that we can create healthier communities by teaching children and adults skills that will help them cope with social, economic and environmental factors.
As Lila Watson so profoundly said, “If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.”
We believe that we all are in it together and can truly work collectively to create a more mindful Lehigh Valley. Our focus this year is making MINDFULNESS
accessible to ALL and removing the fears and beliefs that separate and limit us. Awareness builds bridges between hearts and connects us all regardless of race, color, religion, gender, and sexual preference. #MindfullnessMatters
By attending, sponsoring, or donating, YOU ARE AN INTEGRAL PART
of transforming our society into a happier, healthier, and more mindful world.
We are planning a day filled with yoga classes, workshops and demonstrations that will broaden our horizons, meditations and other healing modalities taught by some of the area’s favorite teachers, along with music that will uplift our spirits. Above all, we hope to inspire a conversation and movement toward hope, connection and unity.
