Pratyush Sinha Foundation
is an integral part of the conversation on how to heal our society. We not only present a solution, but we actively engage in teaching, showing, and helping children & adults in the Lehigh Valley to find and create peace, harmony & love. Since October 2012, Pratyush Sinha Foundation has been effecting change in the Public Health sector of our communities by improving and promoting healthy lifestyles. As a Nonprofit Organization, we rely on funding from donors, sponsors, and other outside contributions so that we can provide Yoga & Mindfulness Classes to those who might not otherwise have access.
So, what is the direct impact of a fun, community event like the 6th Annual Lehigh Valley Yoga Festival?
All proceeds from the event go towards helping us provide Yoga & Mindfulness Classes to children and adults in the Lehigh Valley who might not otherwise have access. With its primary intention being community-building, the all-day event presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity for us all to gather in a health and wellness-focused environment, remove invisible walls that separate us from one another, and invoke the healing powers of the Universal Collective.
By attending, sponsoring, or donating, YOU ARE AN INTEGRAL PART
of transforming our society into a happier, healthier, and more peaceful world.
How does the fundraising from this community event help?
In 2017, it enabled us to widen our reach to more than 2,000 children in 7 area public and charter schools, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Allentown, and after school and summer programs. Additionally, we teach in prisons, libraries, churches, and recovery centers.
How does Pratyush Sinha Foundation effect change in the Public Health sector?
By using a trauma-informed approach, our classes help children and adults gain bodily acceptance and awareness; provide methods for increasing self-esteem and self-confidence through movement, stretching, and breathing; and teach tools to reduce anger, fear, anxiety, and depression.
